Mystic Creek

This landscape is done on black suede, 16x20 inches. I'm continuing to concentrate on eliminating details and trying to complete the painting in one session. This one took about 3 hours. I used a photo I took locally. I took a lot of liberties, not attempting to copy the photo. At first glance it may appear to contain details but on closer examination it's really just masses of color. I used used a one point perspective and simple aerial perspective to get a sense of depth. It was fun! I think I'm healed!!

You sure are healed, Bill (although i don't think you were ever truly broken!) This is a lovely painting. Good on you!
