They won't go away

For most of my life one of my hobbies has been playing the piano. I play mostly by ear … I read music at about the 3rd grade level. I’m not a great musician but I can fool a few drunks at a party. When I started painting I noticed the parallels between playing music and making art. There are many. But, there is one huge difference. When I play a tune on the piano the sound drifts gently away whether I played well or badly. When I paint pictures the damn things pile up all around the room reminding me of just how bad or good they are. This is a picture of me painting me. I haven't decided whether to finish it or flush it.

Wow ... this ia excellent! You are obviously a natural artist. Funny about the piano ... I play too. Cannot play by ear though, wish I could.
